- Wash the rice as before 4 cups of water starts to boil.
- Add some few drops of cooking oli together with salt to taste..
- Add the rice in the boiling water and as it starts to boil reduce the heat and cover with a lid..
- As the water dries up serve it as hot.
- Garnish with tomato paste on top..
- Cut the onions and shallow fry them..
- Dice the tomatoes and add them to the sauce pan..
- Add the royco cubes together with salt to taste..
- Add the carrots and shallow fry them to be crunch.
- Add the green grams stir for a while and add some water and cover with a lid for it to boil for some few minutes. And ready to be served..
- Shallow fry onions.
- Add the sukuma wiki,salt and fry them a bit and ready to be served.
Rice, beans, potatoes, pasta, green grams. Heat enough cooking oil in a pan and throw in chopped onions, then add the omena. Add salt, tomatoes, tomato paste and whatever other spices you choose. Add a little water to prevent them from sticking onto the pan. Keep a check on the omena as they fry.
